In this article, I will help to enlighten you on what you need to know about freelancing.

What is freelancing?

Freelancing can be seen as a form of self-employment or independent work because you’re not working under a company but you take up jobs by delivering your services to clients or companies.

These jobs could be delivered on a per-contract, per task or per-project basis and is usually short-term.

Freelancers have the ability to choose which jobs they want to take up, and negotiate their pay and also their working hours. A freelancer can only provide services and not products. Most freelancers work from home although, this isn’t always the case.
